I'd like to place and ad, how much does it cost?
All classified ads on the website are FREE, however if you would like for your ad to be associated with your kennel and link back to your website, you'll need to sign up for a Kennel Account
I didn't receive my activation code
Your activation code is sent through email and could have been tagged as SPAM. You'll need to check your SPAM mail folder and your Junk mail folder. If you still didn't receive your activation code, then please give me a call at  926-0238.
When I enter my activation code, it says that it doesn't match
If you receive an error message stating that your activation code does not match, must likely it's due to using copy and paste. When you copy and paste be sure not to include any trailing spaces. If all else fails type the code in exactly as it appears in the email, it will not fail.
How can I update or change my ad?
Anyone can update or change their ad at anytime. To do so, just log back into your account and choose the link titled "Manage my dog and horse classifieds". You should see a list of all your ads in the system, just select "Update" next to the ad you want to change. Make your corrections and resubmit.
My ad has expired and I want to list the same ad again.
Log back into your account and choose the link titled "Manage my dog and horse classifieds". You will see a list of all your ads in the system, any ad that has expired can be renewed. Renewing an ad is the same as submitting a new ad, it places your ad back at the beginning of the list, it just saves you some typing. Do not "Update" an expired ad. To renew an ad just click the "Renew" button next to the ad you want to renew.
I sold my dog, how do I delete my ad?
Free ads can not be deleted from the system, however you can mark your ad as "Sold". To do so, log into your account, choose "Manage my dog and horse classifieds". Find the ad you want to mark as Sold and click the "Update" button next to that ad. Find "Is Sold" and set it to "Yes". Alternately, you can just type "Sold" in the title of your ad.
I submitted an ad and it's been pending approval for several days.
Most ads are approved within a few hours, however there are times when we may not be able to access the site due our internet service being down, bad weather or just out of town. Be patient your ads will be reviewed ASAP. If you need faster service consider buying a Kennel Account Pro.
My ad doesn't display my phone number or address.
When placing or updating an ad, you'll see some privacy fields
labeled "Show my Address with my Classified" and "Show my Phone Number with my Classified". Each field will have a check box next to it. In order to display your address or phone number, you must place a check mark in the box next to these fields. If you place an ad and it doesn't display your address or phone number, it's because you didn't check the boxes. You can update your ad and change the privacy settings.
Do I need a Kennel Account to place an ad?
No anyone can place a free ad. The Kennel Account lets your organize your ads and links your ads back to your website. The Kennel Account also displays your kennel under the Kennel Listings page.
I posted an ad but I can't find it on the website.
Free ads have to be approved before they are displayed on the website. If you update or make a change to your ad, it has to be re-approved. You can check the status of your ad by logging into your account and choosing "Manage my dog and horse classifieds". Any ad that has the words "Pending" next to it, is still pending approval.
I uploaded a new picture, but the old picture is still showing.
After uploading your new photo, you'll need to refresh your browser in order to see the new photo. You can do so by viewing your ad and clicking the "refresh" button in your web browser's toolbar or by hitting the "F5" if you are using a Windows based PC.
I submitted a pedigree with my ad but it isn't showing up.
When placing a new ad, you are given the option to turn the pedigree on or off. You can change this setting by updating your ad. Find the field labeled "Show Pedigree" and set it to "Yes".
I have a Kennel Account, but the email I received said my ad would expire in 30 days.
These emails are automatically generated on through the site, if you have a Kennel Account, you can disregard this email.
I signed up for a Kennel Account, How do I enter my information
Kennel Account are setup by Gundog Central and your purchase must be approved before your kennel will be displayed on the website. This process can take up to 24 hours. Once your account is setup you'll be able to access your account and update your information.
How do I add a video to my classifieds?
Upload your video to YouTube. Once it's uploaded, you need to copy the "Embed" code and paste it in the "Video" field when placing your ad. There are two ways to find this code. One is in the administrative section of YouTube, where you manage the video. The other is when you view the video on YouTube. You should see a button labeled "Share" under the video. Click the button and you will see some additional buttons. Click on "Embed" and copy the code you see there. You can find more detailed instructions here : Google.com
